The CCAI 20/20 Vision Program is a public-private partnership which exists to increase positive dialogue and the exchange of information among private sector individuals, foreign and domestic government officials, and Members of Congress. Over the last eight years, CCAI has organized fact-finding trips for Members of Congress and their staff to Ethiopia, Los Angeles, Florida, China, Romania, Russia, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Uganda, and India, and has hosted leaders from around the globe in our nation’s capital. Relationships made and lessons learned through these hands-on interactions continue to inspire the work of CCAI and its Members.
The 20/20 Vision Program facilitates ongoing communication, adoption education, and fact-finding trips between government entities on an international scale; and is most often administered in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State. The 20/20 Vision Program strives to increase positive dialogue with foreign officials and U.S. government officials involved in international adoption policy and practice. CCAI also assists governmental and nongovernmental organizations who are hosting foreign dignitaries in Washington, D.C. by organizing meetings on Capitol Hill on adoption-related matters.
